Fifth Tenet of Transcendentalism: Importance of Nature

The fifth tenet of Transcendentalism was importance of nature. Back in the times the Transcendentalist thought nature was a beauty to the world and that we needed to take more care of it. This is why it is one of the major tenets because without nature we would not have most of the things that we have now. The humans were the part of the oversoal which means we are all part of god.

"Every spirit builds itself a house; and beyond its house a world; and beyond its world a heaven..."

I believe that the house the spirits have is earth. God made this world for us to live in. I chose the picture and the quote for Nature because it goes with my belief the quote goes with the picture and the picture with nature. Nature is beautiful. It makes our world beautiful. Without nature this world would be ugly and dark. It lightens up our world brings peace and love. <3

  1. Watch your grammar is the first paragraph.

What about when nature is ugly and dark? Who do we turn to for beauty and reality? Can nature still be beautiful even in the storm?

    1. The beauty of nature depends on the eyes and beliefs of the beholder. For example, I love cloudy weather. The clouds drift so peacefully fast or slow. But there are still others who like sunny days. All in all nature has it good days and bad days. Just depends how the person feels about it.
